Rebonding price guide

Salon rebonding is priced by hair length and thickness. Short hair typically sits at the bottom of a salon's range, mid-length in the middle, and long or very thick hair at the top — often several times the short-hair price, because the product volume and chair time both rise.

Product volume, the technician's time (three to six hours), the quality of the cream system, and whether a bond builder and aftercare are included. A quote that looks unusually low usually means a diluted system or no aftercare.

A complete 3-step kit covers a full application and costs a fraction of a salon service. It is realistic for straight-forward, previously untreated hair — but if your hair is bleached or already chemically treated, have it done professionally.

Budget for a sulfate-free shampoo and a weekly mask from day one. Rebonded hair that is washed with a harsh shampoo looks rough within a month.
