Hair bleach in Pakistan: price, types and how to use it safely

Bleaching powder is the salon standard. It lifts quickly and is mixed with a developer. Dust-free powders are easier and safer to mix.

Bleaching cream or foaming bleach is easier to apply evenly at home and drips less, which suits highlights and touch-ups.

3% (10 vol) is for gentle lift and toning, 6% (20 vol) is the safest choice for home lightening, 9% (30 vol) lifts more, and 12% (40 vol) is for professionals only. Higher is not better: it lightens faster but damages more and can burn the scalp.

Do a strand test and a patch test 48 hours before. Do not bleach hair that is breaking, or that was rebonded or permed in the last two weeks.
