6/33 is 3 levels lighter than natural black or dark brown hair, more than permanent colour can lift on its own. Lighten with bleach to about this level first, then apply 6/33 with a 6% (20 vol) developer to tone. On coloured hair, colour does not lift colour.

Fashion tones cover grey less fully on their own. For more than about a third grey, mix 6/33 1:1 with the natural shade of the same depth, then add developer.
How to apply
